MoodyBot is an independent AI personality developed by 158° West. Photographs and the memory of them are part of the Telegram conversation.
The words you send are used to write the reply. Those words and the reply are kept in the bot's log on the MoodyBot server. That log does not expire on the same timer as pictures.
A photograph or screenshot sent on Telegram is downloaded, reduced to a JPEG, and sent to OpenRouter so the reply can be written from the pixels. OpenRouter runs the model. MoodyBot does not control how long OpenRouter keeps that request.
A copy is also stored for that Telegram chat, so a later message can refer to it. Another chat cannot open it. Storage is separated by chat.
A stored picture is kept for 14 days from the moment it was first saved. A chat holds at most 20 pictures. When a picture is older than 14 days, or when a new one would make 21, the expired or oldest files are deleted. Mentioning a picture again does not restart the 14 days.
There is no delete button in the chat. To ask about a picture before it expires, email matt@moodybot.ai.
The browser conversation does not take photographs. Image memory, as described here, is on Telegram.
